Do you wear a white collar to work? Are you part of the corporate gig? Have you ever sat at a seminar hosted by a group of middle aged guys that were ear wiggling, toe curlingly, mind numbingly boring? Yeah, I have as well. Why do we put ourselves through this? Possibly from a sense of duty or a sense of escapism that stems from the same part of the brain that thinks.. “No, I can catch a 6am flight.. That’s not too early”. One we regret immediately the alarm on our phone rings. The accounting world is a world in which all too frequently the same old cookie cutter guys are brought out to bore us to death about something that is often actually quite interesting but, due to the soporific presentation, we are too comatosed to take any of it in. I wonder how a woman would do it differently?  |
